OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - For the second-straight season, MidAmerica Nazarene University men's golf won the Heart of America Athletic Conference Championship on Tuesday afternoon, as they won the event by 33 strokes over second place Park University. The event took place at the Nicklaus Club at Lionsgate in Overland Park, Kan.
Baker University's Gavin Dines won the individual Heart Championship after a one-hole playoff with MidAmerica Nazarene University's
Hunter Schmidt. Schmidt and Dines each tied after 54 holes at +7 overall. After 54 holes, they replayed the 18th hole and Dines won by one stroke.
The Pioneers have now qualified for the NAIA Men's Golf National Championships, May 20-23, at the TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill.

The 2025 Heart Men's Golf All-Conference team was also announced at the conclusion of the tournament. The All-Conference team consists of 15 players. The 15 players will be the five low medalists, including ties for 5th-place, at the conference tournament.
The remaining All-Conference players will be selected by the Golf Stat individual adjusted scoring average ranking (to be eligible a player must have posted at least 10 competitive collegiate golf rounds during the academic year).
