Scott Seymour was named Head Coach in December of 2021. Seymour comes to Olathe after 5 years at his Alma Mater, Oklahoma Wesleyan.
At OKWU Seymour was the head men’s and women’s coach since 2017 where he won 3 conference championships. The Eagles won the 2017 KCAC conference championship, and the Lady Eagles won the 2017 and 2018 KCAC conference championship. Seymour was named KCAC Coach of the Year of the men's side in 2017 and KCAC Coach of the Year on the women's side in 2017 and 2018.
Under Seymour, both the men and women competed in the 2017 NAIA National Championship. His women's team also made an appearance at the 2018 NAIA National Championship. The Lady Eagles won many events under Seymour, including the 2019 KCAC women's matchplay event. His greatest achievement was a third place finish in the 2019 Womens NCCAA National Championship.
At OKWU, Seymour coached 8 KCAC first team All-Conference honorees on the men's side, and 4 KCAC first team All-Conference honorees on the women's side. He also coached 3 GCAA Academic All-Americans, and 2 NAIA All-America honorees.
Seymour was a student-athlete at Oklahoma Wesleyan University before becoming their head Golf coach in 2017. During his time as a student-athlete at Oklahoma Wesleyan, Seymour was responsible for many accomplishments. He was named second team All-MCAC his sophomore and junior years, and then was named first team All-MCAC during his senior campaign. During his junior season, Seymour also finished in 13th place at the NCCAA National Tournament.
Coach Seymour and his wife Bristol, have two daughters: Scottie and Macyn.
