The purpose of the Sports Information Department at MNU is to promote and support the athletics programs. The SID does this through maintaining statistics, updating social media outlets, producing highlight and promotional videos, and keeping up the website.

- Credentials

While press passes are not necessary to cover an MNU athletics event, the Sports Information Department requests that media notify them of their intention to cover an event.

- Interview Policy

All requests for interviews with student-athletes and coaches should be coordinated with the Sports Information Department.

Postgame interviews are allowed approximately 10 minutes after the conclusion of the event. Coaches and players are retrieved by the Sports Information staff upon request.

- How to Refer to MNU

We ask that you refer to our institution as MidAmerica Nazarene University on first reference and as MNU on subsequent references. Please refrain from using MidAmerica, MidAmerican, Mid-Am, MANU, MANC, Nazarene, and so on.

- Press Box/Scorer's Table

The press box at ODAC and the scorer's table in Bell Family Arena are equipped with phone and internet data ports. Wireless internet is also available. Contact the MNU Sports Information Department to reserve a spot. Soccer, Softball, and Baseball are not equipped with public phone, but wireless internet is available.

- MNU on the Internet

The MNU Athletics Department is online at www.mnusports.com. All intercollegiate sports have their own pages where you can get the team’s latest news, schedule and results, statistics, coaching staff information, rosters, player profiles, and historical information. You can also get the current phone and e-mail directory for the entire athletics staff.
