Box Score 2 The Pioneers swept a non-conference double header at St. Mary on Monday. In Game 1, St. Mary scored in the first to take the lead, but MNU scored single runs in the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth innings to take a 4-1 lead. The Spires picked up a run in the seventh, but the Pioneers held on to win 4-2.

Colin Starr (2-3, 3B) had 2 hits apiece.
In Game 2,
Carlos Vargas had a 4-0 lead before he took the mound after
Santiago Romero nailed a 3-run double and eventually scored in the top of the first.
Colin Starr doubled and scored in the second to give MNU a 5-0 lead, and MNU held on to win 6-2. Vargas pitched all 7 innings for his 3rd victory, and
