OLATHE, Kan. -Â After one of the best seasons in MNU history,
Ronnie Rowley was honored with an NAIA 2nd team All-America selection. In 53 games in his first season with the Pioneers, the junior outfielder/third baseman from Bremen, Ohio hit .424 with 10 doubles, a program-record 13 triples, 12 homers, 28 steals, an .831 slugging percentage, a program-record .530 on base percentage, and a program-record 1.361 OPS. The leadoff batter got hot early in the season with a 15-game hitting streak which vaulted his batting average from .333 to .450, and he never dipped below .412 the rest of the way. He was named 1st team All-Conference and 2nd team All-America.
