MNU used a 9-run fifth inning of Game 2 to grab a come-from-behind win and salvage a split at Missouri Valley on Tuesday. In Game 1, the Vikings scored twice in each of the first 2 innings to build a 4-run lead. MNU scored single runs in the third and fourth to cut the deficit in half, but Valley tacked on another run in the sixth. The Pioneers scored in the seventh and brought the tying run to the plate, but the Vikings closed the door and won 6-3.
