In the first inning of Game 2,
Clayton Brandt nailed the first pitch over the fence to give the Pioneers a 1-0 lead. Tommy Mark's 3-run blast in the second was followed by a
Ricco Moreno RBI double and the Pioneers never looked back. Two more MNU runs crossed in the third to put the Pioneers up 7-0, and the Eagles scored 3 late runs, but it wasn't enough and the final was 7-3.
Blake Robberson struck out 3 in 5 innings for his 2nd win. And
