In Game 2, Baker mounted a rally with 2 outs and nobody on to score 2 runs in the second. The Wildcats picked up another run in the top of the fifth, and the MNU offense was once again stagnant until a
Colin Starr 2-run homer in the bottom of the fifth. Baker tacked on a run in the sixth and 3 more in the seventh to take a 7-2 lead, and the Pioneer could not come back.
