Kyle Olson had his second great start in as many outings, but the Pioneers couldn't do much offensively in a 2-1 loss at #4 Oklahoma City on Friday. MNU got on the board in the top of the 2nd when
Kyle Brown's 2-out triple brought home
Brad Law to give the Pioneers a 1-0 lead. Olson was able to hold the 1-0 lead through 6 innings before being relieved, allowing just 3 hits while striking out 5. But in the bottom of the 8th, OKC managed a 2-out single before a 2-run homer to take the lead. The Pioneers couldn't get anything going in the 9th and lost by 1.
The Pioneers are 1-3. The next game is a split double header on Saturday at #4 Oklahoma City (9-2) at 11:00 AM followed a game vs. #17 Bellevue (3-0-1).
