Ben Alison led off with a bunt single, stole second, advanced to third on an error, and scored on a
Josh Greer RBI groundout. The bottom of the third was a complete disaster for Friends. The Pioneers scored 6 runs on 1 hit, 1 hit batsman, 6 walks including 5 straight, 3 wild pitches, and only 1 batter recorded an out. The other outs were recorded via stolen base attempts as the Pioneers took a 7-0 lead. The lead was extended in the fourth with a single run, and
Donnie MacLeod's pinch-hit 3-run double in the sixth put MNU up 11-0. Friends managed a single run in the top of the seventh but lost via the 10-run rule.
Liddle (3-0) struck out 4 in 7 innings for his 3rd victory. And
