MNU got 3 runs in the third inning when Kevin Liddle led off with a bunt hit and Dillon Moeller sacrificed him to second. Derek Glenn walked and one out later Timothy Barraza drove home Liddle to give MNU a 1-0 lead. Ben Alison walked to load the bases, and Alex Murrieta followed with a 2-run single to increase the lead to 3-0. Park got on the board with a single run in the fifth, but the Pioneers extended the lead back to 3 when Kyle Segraves knocked home Derek Glenn in the seventh. Trent Hedlund pitched the last 2 innings for the save. Matt Netherton earned the victory. And Derek Glenn (2-2, R, BB, SB), Kyle Segraves (1-4, R, RBI), Timothy Barraza (1-4, R, RBI), and Alex Murrieta (1-3, 2 RBI) led the offense.

Box and Play by Play In Game 2, the Pioneers got on the board in the top of the first after Derek Glenn walked, stole 2nd and 3rd, and scored on a Timothy Barraza sacrifice fly. MNU added on in the fourth when they loaded the bases with one out. Derek Glenn knocked in a run with a single and another came home on an error. Dillon Moeller scored one out later on a wild pitch, and the Pioneers led 4-0. Park scored a single run in the fourth and another in the fifth, but that's as close as they got in the 4-2 Pioneer victory.

Timothy Barraza earned his second victory of the season. Justin Huggins picked up a save. And Derek Glenn (2-3, R, RBI, BB, 3 SB) and Barraza (1-1, RBI, 2 BB) had the Pioneer RBIs.

The Pioneers are 27-10 (9-5 HAAC). They play 4 games at Baker (21-18, 9-5) over the weekend, starting with a double header on Friday at 4:00.
