OLATHE, Kan. - The MNU Athletics Department is pleased to announce the 2026 Hall of Fame class.
Volleyball - Jennifer (Roth) Scott
Outside hitter Jennifer (Roth) Scott earned 3 All-Conference selections in her time at MNU. As a junior in 2019, was named 2nd team All-Conference. As a senior in 2020, she was named 1st team All-Conference as she led the team to Nationals. As a 5th year in 2021, she was named 1st team All-Conference and 3rd team NAIA All-America. She one of just two members of the 1000 kills/1000 digs club. She is the all time MNU aces leader. She and her husband, Noah, have 1 daughter: Bergen (2 weeks).
Soccer - Kevin Wardlaw
Coach
Kevin Wardlaw has recorded almost 350 wins and has made MNU Men's Soccer a perennial power in the NAIA. In 23 seasons at the helm, he has led the Pioneers to 4 Conference Titles, 2 Conference Tournament Championships, 2 NCCAA National Championships, 14 NAIA National Tournament appearances, 9 Rounds of Sixteen, 6 Elite Eight appearances, 4 Fab Fours, 2 title game appearances, and the 2023 NAIA National Championship. He is a 2-time Conference Coach of the Year. He was named NCCAA National Coach of the Year in 2006, and NAIA National Coach of the Year in 2023. He and his wife, Tina, have 3 daughters:Â Maleah, Ava, and Juliana.
Basketball - Rocky Lamar
Coach Rocky Lamar served as MNU's head coach from 1986 through 2022, raking up over 800 wins, 7 Fab Fours, and the 2007 NAIA D2 National Championship. Before Coach Lamar began his tenure at MNU, the Pioneers had just six winning seasons, three of them coming while he was playing for the Pioneers. Coach Lamar has coached 28 NAIA All-America honorees. He has also been named Conference Coach of the Year eight times (89-90, 91-92, 95-96, 99-00, 06-07, 11-12, 15-16, and 21-22). He was named NAIA & KBCA Coach of the Year for the 06-07 season, and KBCA Coach of the Year for the 08-09 season. The Pioneers won 13 conference championships, and have been to the NAIA national tournament 19 times. He is a member of the NAIA Hall of Fame. He is also in the MNU Hall of Fame as a player, and as the coach of the 2007 National Championship team. He and his wife, Jo, have 2 grown children (Chaz and Sarah) and three grandchildren (Jared, Jayna, and Jonas).
