OLATHE, Kan. – After four seasons as head coach of MidAmerica Nazarene Men's Basketball, Adam Hepker has resigned and accepted a position at another institution.
One of the most accomplished players in program history, Hepker took the reigns at his alma mater beginning with the 2022-23 season after an outstanding playing career that included three NAIA All-America honors, two Heart of America Athletic Conference Player of the Year awards, and leading MNU to the 2007 NAIA National Championship while earning Tournament MVP honors.
During his four seasons as head coach, Hepker guided the Pioneers to the 2024 Heart Conference Championship, earned Heart Conference Coach of the Year honors, and led MNU to two NAIA National Tournament appearances.
"Throughout his time at MNU, Adam Hepker has consistently led with conviction, humility, and a genuine commitment to the people around him," said Director of Athletics Ryan Thompson. "As both a former Pioneer student-athlete and our men's basketball coach, he has invested in the lives of students while faithfully serving the mission of MNU. We are thankful for the many ways Adam has strengthened our community and wish him, Amy, and their family God's guidance and abundant blessings as they begin this new chapter."
A nationwide search for MNU's next head coach begins immediately.
