OLATHE, Kan. - MidAmerica Nazarene University Director of Athletics
Todd Garrett has announced the addition of men's and women's golf, starting next year. MNU had a golf team from 1971-79 before it was discontinued. "We are thoroughly excited for the reinstatement of the Golf program at MNU after a long pause from the programs days dating back to 1971-1979," said Garrett. "The newly established program will provide us another conduit for young people to join the Pioneer family to pursue a liberal arts education in an environment that develops them not only athletically, but spiritually. The Kansas City area is a wonderful hub for competitive golf and we are hopeful that many new athletes will consider MNU as a place to call home for their collegiate golf experience. We look forward to providing a first class experience for this group of new students and expand the athletic offerings for a new generation of athletes for years to come."
Competition begins in the Fall of 2022. (pictured below: MNU golf in the 70s)
