The Pioneers played William Jewell tough on the road but came away with a 3-point loss on Saturday. Neither team had more than a 7-point lead as the game was tight throughout. The Pioneers trailed by 3 in the final seconds and a play was called for
Keith McCullough. The junior's 3-point attempt went begging, and Jewell escaped with the narrow victory.
McCullough led the Pioneers with 18 points off the bench.
Rustin Dowd had 16 points and 4 assists. And
Conner Langrehr added 13 points and 3 assists.
