Three Pioneers scored 11 points in Friday's 68-57 loss to Southern Nazarene in the Pioneer Classic. The first half was tight as neither team took more than a 5-point lead. SNU took a 3-point lead into the locker room at halftime, and the Pioneers rallied early in the second half to take a 1-point advantage with 13 minutes remaining. SNU answered by scoring 11 straight points with a field goal and three 3-pointers to take a 10-point lead. MNU battled but the 10-point lead was maintained for the rest of the game and the Pioneers fell to 1-4 on the season.

CJ Wesemann scored 11 points.
Kiley Herold had a game-high 13 rebounds and 4 steals. And Janee' Garza had a game-high 4 assists.
The Pioneers are 1-4. The next game is Saturday at 8:00 vs. Oklahoma Christian (3-1) in the final game of the
Pioneer Classic.
