Orange City, Iowa - The MNU women's basketball team dropped their second game in a row with a 72-57 defeat at the hands of Northwestern (IA). The game was played on the campus of Northwestern College at the Pizza Ranch Classic. The Pioneers trailed by 9 at halftime, and were held scoreless for the first six minutes of the second half and never got back into the game.

Bethany Rexroth each had 11 points. Rexroth added 7 blocked shots, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists in the loss.
The Pioneers are 3-2. The next game is Friday the 20th at Southern Nazarene (4-1) at 6 PM.
