OLATHE, Kan. – A strong start wasn't enough to hold off Missouri Valley's second-half surge as MNU fell 76–62 on Wednesday evening.
The Pioneers led 34–32 at halftime, but the Vikings flipped the script after the break, outscoring MNU 44–28 in the second half. MNU shot just 34.8 percent from the field after halftime and couldn't keep pace as MVC capitalized on turnovers and points in the paint.
