DES MOINES, Iowa – #20 MNU controlled the run of play from start to finish, shutting out Grand View 2-0 on Saturday for its third straight win. The Pioneers outshot the Vikings 18-3 and dominated possession in another strong Heart performance.

Thayline Teixeira broke the deadlock in the 39th minute, scoring off an assist from Emily Rawlins. In the second half, Tindra Jarl sealed the victory with a 61st-minute strike, assisted by Bella Leon. Goalkeeper Fiona Popetschnig did not face a shot on goal as MNU's back line stifled every Viking advance.

Turning Point
After nearly 40 minutes of pressure, Teixeira's opener just before halftime gave MNU the breakthrough it needed.
