Pioneers Beat Pirates in 4

PARKVILLE, Mo. – MNU bounced back from its weekend loss with a strong 3-1 road victory at Park on Tuesday night. The Pioneers dropped the opening set 25-21 but controlled the next three frames, winning 25-16, 25-18, and 25-22 to move to 5-1 in conference play.

After Park struck first, MNU responded in emphatic fashion in Set 2, racing out to a 7-1 lead behind kills from Isabella Munari and Alyssa Reichard. The Pioneers' block and serving game took over from there, with Callie Winebarger and Emily Mathis delivering aces to spark momentum. MNU maintained steady control the rest of the way, with Reichard (.357) and Mia Olson (.588) powering the offense.

The Pioneers dominated the second set 25-16 after dropping the opener, swinging the momentum permanently in their favor.
