OLATHE, Kan. – A dramatic late goal gave #13 MNU a 2-1 victory over Park at CBAC on Saturday. With just under a minute left, MNU keeper Fiona Popetschnig launched a punt which found the feet of Thayline Teixeira, who beat a Park defender and the keeper for the game winner.
The Pioneers scored first in the 25th minute, when a Luna Etienne corner was headed home by Tindra Jarl, but Park tied it early in the 2nd half. The 1-1 score remained until the 90th minute, when the dramatic finish sent the home crowd home happy.

Teixeira's goal in the final minute was the difference.
