OLATHE, Kan. – #3-ranked MNU dominated possession and chances but couldn't find the breakthrough, settling for a 0-0 draw with Park in Heart Conference action on Saturday. The Pioneers peppered the Pirates' defense with 22 shots, including six on goal, but Park goalkeeper Felipe Ramos made six saves to preserve the scoreless stalemate.
MNU controlled the tempo throughout, generating 14 second-half shots and eight corner kicks overall. Jeremie Pelade and Antonio Mugica were particularly dangerous, combining for six shots on target, but the woodwork and Ramos kept the clean sheet intact.
Turning Point
The best chance came in the 78th minute when Pelade's strike rattled the crossbar, inches from giving MNU the decisive goal.
