MARSHALL, Mo. – MNU swept a conference doubleheader on the road at Missouri on Saturday. In
Game 1, the Pioneers scored multiple runs in each of the 4th, 5th, and 6th to cruise to a 7-0 victory.
Mandy Brown dominated in the circle, striking out 12 in a complete game 1-hit shutout.

Game 2, Valley scored single runs in the first two innings to take the lead.
Dakoda Hobbs cut the deficit in half with an RBI double in the top of the 4th, but the Vikings answered with a run in the bottom of the inning. In the top of the 5th,
Elayna Goff led off with double and stole third. A
Robin Todd sacrifice fly made it 3-2, but the Pioneers were just getting starter. An
Abby Schulte RBI triple tied the game, and
Danica Hobbs knocked her in for the lead.
Brie Manwarren followed with an RBI double, and
Alli VanLanker made it 6-3 with an RBI single.
Mandy Brown took the circle in the bottom of the 5th and picked up the final 9 outs in a 6-4 victory.
