CANTON, Mo. – MNU swept a conference doubleheader on the road at Culver-Stockton on Friday. In
Game 1, the Pioneers scored in the top of the 2nd with a 2-out RBI single from
Kelly Stoakes, and it would prove to be the game winner.
Robin Todd's RBI triple led to 2 in the 4th, and the Pioneers rallied for 4 in the 5th to pull away.

Mandy Brown struck out 7 in a complete game 4-hit shutout. And
Kelly Stoakes (4-4, 2 RBI, BB),
Dakoda Hobbs (3-4, 3 R, 2B, 2 RBI), and
Robin Todd (3-4, 2 R, 3B, 2 RBI) had multi-hit games.

Game 2 was another blowout, but Culver scored 1 in the bottom of the 2nd to take the lead. MNU tied it in the 3rd, and
Brie Manwarren's solo homer put the Pioneers in front in the 4th.
Kelly Stoakes' 3-run double capped a big inning, and MNU put up 2 more in the 5th to win 7-1.
