DES MOINES, Iowa – #12 MNU's historic run in conference play came to an end Saturday afternoon, as the Pioneers dropped a hard-fought 69–66 overtime decision at Grand View. The loss snapped MNU's regular-season conference winning streak at 38 games, dating back to a loss to then-#4 Clarke in January of 2024.

Kameron Green delivered a standout performance for MNU, pouring in a career-high 27 points on 10-of-22 shooting while adding 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals, and 2 blocks in 38 minutes.

Zaylee Werth finished with 18 points and went a perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line, while Aubrey Rogers added 7 points and 3 assists.

MNU leaned on its interior presence, scoring 42 points in the paint and holding a 17–8 edge in points off turnovers. The Pioneers were flawless at the free-throw line (15-for-15) and committed fewer turnovers than Grand View, but shooting struggles from beyond the arc (3-for-14) proved costly in a game decided by one possession.

Turning Point
Grand View's go-ahead three-pointer with 2:26 remaining in overtime gave the Vikings a lead they would not relinquish.
