Pioneers Fall to #2 Dordt

OLATHE, Kan. – A cold shooting night doomed MNU against #2 Dordt on Thursday, as the Pioneers struggled to find offensive rhythm in a 64–48 loss to the 2-time defending national champs. MNU shot just 30 percent from the field and managed only six points in the fourth quarter.

Zaylee Werth added 13 points and a team-high 6 assists. Kameron Green had 12 points and 3 rebounds, while Grace Carlson and Aubrey Rogers chipped in 7 points apiece.

Dordt dominated the 1st quarter to grab a 10-point lead, and extended the advantage to 16 at halftime. The Pioneers played right with Dordt in the second half, even holding the Defenders to just 5 points in the 4th quarter, but the halftime deficit proved too much to overcome.
