SEWARD, Neb. – #13 suffered its first loss of the season Saturday afternoon, falling 84–57 to undefeated Concordia in the finale of the Concordia Classic.
After trading baskets early, the Pioneers fell behind in the second quarter as the Bulldogs caught fire from three, shooting 64.7% in the period to take a 52–30 halftime lead. Despite a stronger offensive finish from MNU, Concordia's hot shooting—53.6% from behind the arc for the game—proved too much to overcome.
Zaylee Werth led the Pioneers with 13 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 blocks, while Kameron Green added 12 points and 4 assists. Aubrey Rogers chipped in 9 points and a pair of steals.
