OLATHE, Kan. – #4 MNU dominated both halves on Homecoming Saturday, blanking Clarke 5–0 behind a hat trick from Jeremie Pelade and a dynamic performance from Jaxon Slaven. The Pioneers fired 17 shots, including nine on goal, while holding the Pride to just four shots on target.
Pelade opened the scoring in the 27th minute off a setup from Tom Chartier, then doubled the lead before halftime on an assist from Antonio Mugica. MNU extended its advantage early in the second half as Slaven finished a cross from Gabriel Fernandes in the 49th minute. Pelade completed his hat trick two minutes later, and Slaven added his second goal in the 63rd minute from an Elyes Ellouz assist to cap the rout.
Goalkeeper Tobias Stirl earned the clean sheet with four saves.
Turning Point
Back-to-back goals from Pelade (26') and Mugica (38') built a 2–0 cushion MNU never relinquished.
