Pioneers Handle Wildcats

OLATHE, Kan. – #23 MNU erupted for four first-half goals and cruised to a 6–2 victory over Culver-Stockton on Saturday afternoon. The Pioneers fired 23 shots and earned six corners, dominating play from start to finish in one of their most complete performances of the season.

Tindra Jarl and Thayline Teixeira led the offensive onslaught, each recording two goals. Jarl opened the scoring in the 11th minute off a Teixeira assist before Teixeira scored twice in a six-minute span to make it 3–0. Micaela Kiefer added her first collegiate goal in the 44th minute from a Jasmine Alcantara setup to cap a four-goal first half.

Jarl added her second goal in the 63rd minute, assisted by Lieve Mol and Maddie Lalman, before Audree Cheney rounded out the scoring in the 83rd with help from Meredith Veer. Fiona Popetschnig made three saves as MNU improved to 9–2 overall.

Turning Point
Teixeira's back-to-back goals in the first half buried Culver-Stockton early and set the tone for MNU's dominant win.
