OLATHE, Kan. - The Pioneers split a double header vs. Peru State on Saturday. The game were played in Olathe due to weather in Nebraska, so MNU was the visitor on the scoreboard. In Game 1, the teams were tied at 1 heading to the 7th, and the Pioneers took a 2-1 lead on a Kelly Stoakes RBI groundout. In the bottom of the 7th, Peru had a walk, a single, a fielder's choice, and a bases loaded walk to tie the game with no outs. A shallow flyout kept the runners in place, but a hit batsman followed to give the game to the Bobcats.

Kelly Stoakes (1-3, 2B, RBI) and Abby Schulte (2-3, HBP) led the offense.
