ATCHISON, Kan. – Jon Lewis is 300-102 after a 71-66 victory at Benedictine on Wednesday. The Pioneers handed the Ravens just their second home loss of the season. A fast-paced opening quarter saw the Ravens lead 22-21, but MNU dominated the 2nd quarter 26-12 to take a 13-point lead to halftime. The teams played evenly in the 3rd, and MNU still held a 12-point lead with less than 2 minutes left in the game. Benedictine buried 3 straight 3-pointers in the span of a minute to close the gap to 3, but MNU finally got a stop with 10 seconds left and hit 2 free throws to seal it.
