Pioneers used a huge 4th quarter to defeat #17 Grand View on Saturday. In defensive struggle, the 1st quarter ended in a 13-13 tie. Grand View dominated the 2nd quarter to take an 11-point lead into halftime, but MNU turned it around in the 2nd half. A 9-0 run in 90 seconds tied the game early in the 3rd quarter, and the game was close heading to the 4th. The Pioneers trailed by 6 with 6 minutes remaining, but MNU dominated the rest of the game. The defense clamped down and the offense caught fire, leading to an 18-0 run and a 12-point lead with 20 seconds left. Grand View hit hit a couple threes in the final seconds, and MNU won by 8.
