OLATHE, Kan. – MNU won their 13th straight game with a 100-90 victory over Baker on Wednesday. The Pioneers hold the tiebreaker and lead 2nd place Baker by 3 games with 3 remaining to clinch the 1-seed in the conference tournament. One more MNU victory or one more Baker loss gives the Pioneers the outright conference title. MNU jumped out to a 12-4 lead and kept increasing to take a 15-point lead to the locker room. The Pioneers started the 2nd half hot and opened with a 15-5 run for a 25-point lead with 16 minutes left. Baker fought back, however, and cut the deficit to 10 with 8 minutes remaining. MNU hit enough free throws to keep the double digit lead to close out the 10-point win.
