BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – MNU delivered a strong performance, defeating Baker University in four sets on Friday. The Pioneers rebounded after a second-set slip, winning 25-15, 22-25, 25-18, and 25-22. This victory improved their record to 11-9 overall and 5-3 in conference play.
Isabella Munari powered MNU with 18 kills and 12 digs, while Katrina Davis orchestrated the offense with an impressive 51 assists. Despite a rough second set, the Pioneers rallied and controlled the remainder of the match, showing resilience down the stretch.
Turning Point
After a close second set, MNU took command in the third, holding Baker to just 18 points. Charley Turner and Mia Olson led the blocking effort, neutralizing Baker's offense, which allowed the Pioneers to shift momentum back in their favor.
