Game 1, Park jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the top of the 1st, and the Pioneers went the first 3 innings without a base runner. In the bottom of the 4th,
Drew Woodley walked and
Brycen Sherwood doubled to start the inning. A passed ball got MNU on the board, and a
Dionathan Cornet 2-run homer tied it with 2 outs. Another run scored before the inning ended, and MNU led 4-3. A
Javier Melendez 2-out RBI single put MNU up 5-3 in the 5th, and starter
Zach Trevino closed it out for the win.

Game 2, the Pioneers scored in every inning and blew out the Pirates 16-3.

Sean Maple doubled him home to get the Pioneers within 1.
Joey Calamaio's 2-run homer capped a 7-run inning, and MNU led 8-5. Park punched right back with 3 runs in the 4th to tie it, but a
Noah Castillo 2-run homer put MNU up for good. Neither team scored again, and the Pioneers held on to win 10-8.
