STERLINGTON, La. - A 10-run top of the 3rd doomed MNU in a 14-5 loss to Texas Wesleyan in the final game of the Cajun Collision on Saturday. The Rams took an early 1-0 lead with back-to-back doubles in the top of the 2nd, but MNU rallied for 3 runs - highlighted by a Noah Castillo 2-out 2-run single - with 2 outs to take a 3-1 lead. The top of the 3rd was a disaster, and Texas Wesleyan scored 10 runs on 9 hits to take a big lead. Three more scored in the 4th, and MNU fell 14-5.

Individual Leaders
Kristian Hurtado and Noah Castillo combined to strike out 7 in 3 innings of 1-hit relief. And Castillo (2-4, 2B, 2 RBI) and Sean Maple (2-4, R, RBI) had 2 hits apiece.
