DES MOINES, Iowa – The Pioneers finished strong in an 86-79 win at Grand View on Saturday. MNU led by 3 and halftime, but the Vikings fought back to tie it at 77 with 1:41 remaining. Brooks Langrehr drained a 3 to give the Pioneers the lead, and 2 Grand View free throws closed the gap. Mekhi Elmore scored his 30th point to push the lead back to 3, and a turnover gave the ball back to the Pioneers. At the end of the shot clock, Elmore sealed it with his 32nd point, and the Pioneers hit free throws in the final seconds to win by 7.
