MNU Cross Country closed out their regular season at the Mike Spielman Classic hosted by Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas. All of MNU women ran a personal best in the 6k race and four of MNU's women placed in the top-15. Junior
Abigail Allred was 4th with a time of 25:26. Senior Abby Zitter placed 6th overall with a time of 25:39. Senior
Justine Wheeler finished in 8th with a time of 25:59, and sophomore
Gracie Enochs was 14th with a time of 27:24. The women placed 2nd overall as a team.

On the men's side, two MNU runners placed in the top-10. Junior
James Mwihaki was 6th place with a time of 27:18. Senior
Riley Glassbrenner was 9th overall with a time of 27:36. The third runner for MNU was
Paul Heddings, who ran a personal best time of 30:11. Freshman
Jackson Elsey and Matthew Banuelos rounded out the team as the fourth and fifth runners for MNU. The men placed 3rd overall as a team.

"Friday evening was a great tune-up race before our conference meet in November. I'm excited to see what we will do in two weeks, and I think after this meet we are in a good spot to put our best foot forward," said Head Cross Country Coach,

The next race for MNU will be the Heart of America Conference Championship meet. This meet will be hosted by Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on the morning of November 4th.
