Tyler Frieders cruised through the first 4 innings before running into trouble in the 5th. But he escaped with just 1 earned run and exited with 9 strikeouts. In the top of the 6th, MNU led 4-2 and loaded the bases with 2 outs.
Dionathan Cornet drilled a 3-run double into the gap, and
Noah Castillo followed with an RBI single to put the Pioneers up 8-2. MNU scored 3 more in the 7th, highlighted by a pinch hit 2-run double from
Brysen Hamilton, and the Pioneers went on to win 14-6.

Dionathan Cornet's 2-out 3-run double in the 6th blew the game open.
