DES MOINES, Iowa - MNU won their 3rd straight road game with a 73-69 victory at Grand View on Wednesday. The first half was tight until MNU managed a 12-3 run to take an 8-point lead. Early in the first half, the Pioneers took a 12-point lead, but the Vikings slowly chipped away and cut the deficit to 2 with 30 seconds left. Ed Wright hit 2 free throws to push the lead to 2 possessions, but the Vikings had the ball down by 2 with 5 seconds remaining. The Grand View ball handler got all the way to basket, but a slip resulted in a turnover, and Wright iced the game with 2 more free throws.

MNU went on a 12-3 run late in the first half to create separation.
