-Â MNU dug themselves a big first-half hole and couldn't recover in a 44-29 loss at #22 Culver-Stockton on Satuday. The Pioneer offense couldn't find traction, and a fumbled punt snap and a blocked punt twice set up the Wildcats in MNU territory. Culver scored 5 touchdowns before the Pioneers found their footing, and took a 34-0 lead. MNU got on the board late in the first half, but the Wildcats scored again for a 41-7 halftime lead.
The Pioneers made some noise in the second half, recording 3 touchdowns and holding Culver to just a fourth quarter field goal, but the deficit was too great and MNU lost by 15.

MNU's opening drive ended with a fumbled punt snap followed by a 1-play touchdown.

Blake Atkins was 13-21 for 205 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Shawn Cherry ran for 36 yards and a touchdown.
