Records: MNU (23-11, 14-8), GVU (28-5, 17-2)
Location: Williams Field - Olathe, Kan.

OLATHE, Kan. - MNU got swept by #12 Grand View on Friday. In Game 1, Grand View rallied for 4 straight hits with 2 outs and nobody on for a 3-0 lead. MNU responded with 2 in the bottom of the inning, but the Vikings pushed the lead to 6 with a 5-run 3rd inning. MNU didn't score again, and GVU won 9-2.

Game 1 Turning Point
Grand View's 3-run 2nd was enough.

Game 1 Individual Leaders
Alli VanLanker (1-2, R, 2B, BB), Londin Fiorella (1-2, R, 2B, RBI, SB), and Madeline Brooks (2-3, SB) had MNU's 4 hits.

In Game 2, each team scored in the 1st, and the Pioneers took the lead in the bottom of the 3rd. Grand View homered in the top of the 4th to tie it, then took the lead with a run in the top of the 6th. In the bottom of the 7th, MNU loaded the bases with 1 out. But a fielder's choice out at home followed by a diving catch in center ended the threat and gave the Vikings the sweep.
