PERU, Neb. - MNU started the conference schedule with a 98-90 victory at Peru State on Saturday. The game was tight in the 1st half until the Pioneers went on a 13-4 run to take an 8-point lead. The MNU advantage reached as high as 12 in the first half before the Bobcats closed the gap to 8 at the break. The teams traded buckets throughout the 2nd half, and the 8-point lead held to the end.
