MARSHALL, Mo. - MNU Volleyball split 4 games hosted by Missouri Valley over the weekend. "I'm grateful to Tamika at Missouri Valley for the opportunity to enter her tournament," said Coach Karagyaurov. "It was mutually beneficial as she had a team drop out late and we had two team cancel on us this preseason. It was a little bit of a scramble but we got it put together quick and made it happen. It's clear we need to get better and in order to get better we need to play! It is playing ugly at this point but we are learning from it. It's a tough start to the season but my goal hasn't changed - qualify for the conference tournament and play our best volleyball at the end of the year. Although losses are never ideal; right now they don't hinder those goals. So we all need to pull ourselves up a little bit, keep our heads screwed on straight, and learn to love the grind. Most importantly, don't let the losses go to waste - learn and move on."

Up Next: MNU faces the University of Providence at the Bellevue Tournament on September 2 at 7:00.
