Austin Healy was hit by a pitch to load the bases.
Josh Torrance followed with a 2-run double, and MNU took the early lead. Baker answered with 1 in the bottom of the 2nd and loaded the bases with 1 out. Starter

Joshuan Sandoval extended the lead with a solo homer to lead off the 3rd. Another 2-out rally in the top of the 5th - highlighted by a
Ryan Leo 2-run double - gave MNU an 8-1 lead, but the Pioneers were far from done. In the top of the 7th, MNU rallied for 9 runs on 9 hits - including an RBI single and a 3-run double from Leo - to take a 17-2 lead. Leo drove in another run in MNU's 5-run top of the 9th - highlighted by an
Austin Healy 3-run homer - and won 23-6.
