OZARK, Mo. - The Pioneers lost their first game since March in an 8-4 defeat at the hands of #4 Central Methodist on Saturday. The Eagles jumped in front with a 3-run 2nd inning, but the Pioneers clawed back with single runs in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. CMU extended the lead to 6-3 in the 5th, and the Pioneers couldn't come all the way back. MNU recorded 10 hits in 6 innings vs. the Heart Pitcher of the Year, but a big rally never materialized and CMU avoided the big inning.

CMU's 2 runs in the 5th put CMU in front for good.
