BALDWIN CITY, Kan. - The Pioneers' win streak is at 12 after a 4-game sweep at Baker.

In Game 1, MNU jumped in front with an Adam Rellihan solo homer in the top of the 1st. In the top of the 2nd, a 2-out 2-run single from Josh Torrance made it 3-0, and Kyle Waller made it hold up. Baker managed a solo homer in the 6th, but MNU won 4-1.

Game 1 Individual Leaders
Kyle Waller struck out 5 in 6.2 innings for the win. Eric Navarette got the final out for the save. And Josh Torrance (1-4, 2 RBI), Adam Rellihan (2-4, R, 2B, HR, RBI), and Daunte Freeman (1-4, RBI, SB) drove in MNU's runs.

In Game 2, MNU scored 2 in the 1st and 2 in the 3rd to take a 4-0 lead. Baker answered with a 2-out 3-run homer in the bottom of the 3rd, but Jhon Vargas dominated every other inning. The Pioneers added single runs in the 4th and 7th, and Vargas struck out a career-high 14 in a 7-inning complete game 6-3 victory.

Daunte Freeman's 2-run homer in the 3rd turned out to be the game winner.

Jhon Vargas struck out an MNU Dakstats-era record (since 2006) 14 and allowed just 3 hits in a complete game victory. And Josh Torrance (1-2, R, BB), Adam Rellihan (1-3, R, 2B, RBI), Joshuan Sandoval (3-3, 2B, RBI, BB), Daunte Freeman (1-4, R, HR, 2 RBI), and Austin Healy (3-3, R, HR, RBI, SB) led the offense.

In Game 3, MNU took the lead with solo homers from Randy Fernandez in the 2nd, and Daunte Freeman and Brycen Sherwood in the 5th. Baker closed the gap with a run in the bottom of the 5th, but Freeman hit a 3-run shot in the 6th to blow it open and give MNU a 7-1 victory.

Tommy Castro struck out 3 in a complete game victory. And Daunte Freeman (3-4, 2 R, 2 HR, 4 RBI), Brycen Sherwood (2-2, R, HR, RBI, 2 BB), Randy Fernandez (2-4, R, HR, RBI), and Austin Healy (2-3, R) led the offense.

In Game 4, Baker took the lead with a run in the bottom of the 2nd, but Adam Rellihan's solo homer in the 3rd tied the game. With the score still 1-1 with 2 outs in the top of the 5th, Joshuan Sandoval drilled a 2-strike offering over the fence for a grand slam and a 5-1 lead. MNU extended the lead with a run in the 7th, and the Pioneers won 6-1.

Sandoval's grand slam was the game-winner.

Easten Garrett struck out 4 in 5.2 innings for the win. And Adam Rellihan (2-3, 2 R, HR, 2 RBI, BB), Joshuan Sandoval (2-4, R, HR, 4 RBI), Randy Fernandez (1-2, R, BB), and Will Morris (1-2, R, BB) led the offense.
