ATCHISON, Kan. - The Pioneer offense exploded and the starting pitchers both went the distance in a double header sweep at Benedictine on Thursday. The Ravens rebounded to win a slugfest 13-12 in Game 3 before Game 4 was postponed.
In
Game 1, MNU got all they needed in the top of the 1st.

Jacob Jenkins walked to force in another.
Brycen Sherwood singled in the 3rd run, and a wild pitch brought in a 4th.
Austin Healy capped the scoring with a 2-out 2-run single, and MNU led 6-0. Benedictine's leadoff man started the bottom of the inning with a homer, but that was all the Ravens would get.
Kyle Waller allowed just 3 more hits while striking out 11, and the offense kept putting up big innings. Four runs scored in the 2nd, 3 more crossed in the 4th, and another rally in the 6th produced 4 more for an 18-1 final.
