DES MOINES, Iowa - The Pioneers went to Grand View and put on the best first-half performance in memory in a 22-point victory on Saturday. MNU shot 61% in the first quarter while holding GVU to 14% as the lead was 22-5 at the break. The second period was equally dominant and the Pioneers led 50-14 as the teams headed to the locker room. The Vikings found some rhythm in the third quarter as they scored 23 points, but the deficit was far too great and MNU cruised to the finish.
