ATCHISON, Kan. - The Pioneers earned a tough road Heart victory at Benedictine on Saturday. The score was 69-62. MNU led 17-13 after 1 quarter, but Benedictine dominated the 2nd quarter to lead by 7 at the break. The Pioneers trailed by 8 with 5 minutes left in the 3rd, but a 12-4 run to close the period tied the game. MNU extended the lead early in the 4th, and the Ravens couldn't come back.

Individual Leaders
Arielle Sargent led the way with 14 points and 8 rebounds. Jordynn Gonzalez had 13 points. TrEl'Shawn Smith shot 6-10 for 12 points off the bench. And Makayla Gooch had 7 points and 5 assists.
